Hello Parents, Cub-scouts, and leaders of Pack 32,
We are excited about the start of the scouting year and have many fun things for everyone. I would like to ask all parents to please volunteer yourself in some capacity to help the Pack GO. There are many opportunities to help improve our Pack, making it fun for all. On to business; The first Pack meeting is on Friday September 12 , 7 pm, at the East Amwell School located at 43 Wertsville rd, Ringoes NJ 08551. Please try and attend to get the year off to a great start. The Den meetings for September are as follows: AOL and WEBELO scouts will be meeting on Monday 9/8 at the East Amwell School at 7 pm. The Bears will meet on Monday 9/15 at the East Amwell school 7 pm; The Wolf den meets on Monday 9/22 at the East Amwell school 7 pm; The Tiger den will meet on Monday 9/29 at the East Amwell school 7 pm. Look for email communications from your Den leader as the year progresses.

The official Pack 32 Popcorn Kickoff will happen in the near future, but briefly, there are 3 ways to sell popcorn:
Best Ways To Sell:
1. Take order - if you already received your popcorn sheet in the mail, you can start selling! Otherwise, you can obtain your form at the next Pack meeting or at your upcoming Den meeting.
All popcorn payments should be directed towards “Cub Scout Pack 32”.
Popcorn Sheets as well as full payment are DUE Wednesday, October 22nd!
2. Show and Sell - Pack 32 will be holding a number of events around town during the months of September – we will need plenty of volunteers.
All show-n-sells will run from 10am-3pm

3. Online selling - visit www.trails-end.com (Click on Scouts, create an account, sign in and you are ready to go)
· ALWAYS wear your uniform
· ALWAYS smile and introduce yourself
· ALWAYS tell your customers why you are selling popcorn
· KNOW the different kinds of popcorn you are selling
· ALWAYS say “Thank You”
· ALWAYS make a copy of your order form
· ALWAYS have a clean order form with a pen
· BE SURE to get customer email addresses to send them a “Thank You” email after the sale,
reminding them they can re-order online.
· NEVER enter anyone’s home
· NEVER sell after dark unless you are with an adult
· DON’T carry large amounts of cash with you
· ALWAYS walk on the sidewalk and driveway
· ALWAYS sell with another scout or with an adult

Hi, my name is ___________, and I am with ____________. I’m selling popcorn to raise money for the things I like to do in Scouting. The popcorn is delicious and there are many different kinds to choose from. Will you please help support me? (Always say “Thank You” when you are done)
A Note About Selling Popcorn for Pack 32:
Please remember that the popcorn sale is our only fundraiser of the year. They’ve got better prizes this year, plus the pack graduated some of its top sellers which means the pack top seller prize of $50 at the council store is up for grabs! Also, the top seller in the den gets a $25 council store gift certificate. A successful popcorn sale allows us to have quality gear for campouts as well as fund fun events such as the Blue & Gold and the Crossover.
The pack has a goal of $12,000 for the sale which would qualify us for higher percentage return to the pack as well as other incentives. That may sound like a lot, but if each boy in the pack sold about $250, we’d hit it! But please sell as much as you can!
The council has also offered additional bonus prizes this year. If you fill in your entire sheet (30 orders) and email it in to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax to (215) 348-7289 by November 7th and you’ll receive a $10 Scout Shop Certificate. Please make sure your name and Pack number are legible.
Any scout who sells $600 will earn the Skylights Rocket Set in addition to his selected rewards.
Finally, any scout who sells at least $2500 within the 2014 calendar year will receive 6% of their total sales invested in their own college scholarship account! You only need to hit this amount once and the scholarship fund will continue each year!
